Armadillo & Co Nala Rug
Armadillo have been producing rugs since 2009 that are 100% handmade in India, using Fair Trade practices and natural and sustainable fibres.
Their rugs are the work of artisans whose intricate weaving traditions are centuries old. They have been passed down through generations and reinterpreted by Armadillo & Co for contemporary interiors. Hand dyeing and sun drying add abundant texture and vibrancy to the yarn which is then flat woven, hand knotted or braided. This hand looming and knotting imbues each rug with subtle character and timeless appeal.
Armadillo maintain a ‘reuse, reduce and recycle’ philosophy with the use of sustainable fibres like wool and jute.
Hand-knotted from pure wool and trimmed into a ribbed pile, this miniature version of our Malawi rug makes a gentle landing pad for bare feet. Lavishly soft, it is framed by a tasselled fringe that enlivens any room when styled as an accent piece.
